Vyatka State Humanities University (VSHU) invites students of high schools, colleges, universities and beyond to summer school «DYMKA 2012», a fantastic 2-week mix of Russian classes, activities and excursions designed for those who are interested in Russian Culture.
Kirov is an old Russian city (founded 1374) 700 km northeast of Moscow. The city can boast of numerous historical sights and highly developed crafts with age-long traditions: handmade laces, articles of birch bark, straw and clay. Colorful clay dolls, Dymka, are known all over the world. Kirov is a very green city with a high security level. Life in Kirov is substantially less expensive than in the Russian capitals.
