Vyatka State Humanities University (VSHU) invites students of high schools, colleges, universities and beyond to summer school «DYMKA 2012», a fantastic 2-week mix of Russian classes, activities and excursions designed for those who are interested in Russian Culture.

Kirov is an old Russian city (founded 1374) 700 km northeast of Moscow. The city can boast of numerous historical sights and highly developed crafts with age-long traditions: handmade laces, articles of birch bark, straw and clay. Colorful clay dolls, Dymka, are known all over the world. Kirov  is a very green city with a high security level. Life in Kirov is substantially less expensive than in the Russian capitals.

The diverse program of «DYMKA 2012» will make sure that you get to know the country and people. The program includes:

• 20 hours of tuition per week (4 academic hours every morning Monday to Friday);
• afternoon and evening activities
• a trip to the vacation camp

Experienced teachers will teach you the basics of Russian or improve your language skills depending on your level, instruct how to behave in different life situations in Russia, tell you about Russian traditions, introduce you to Russian theatre and art, give you a tour through Russian folklore, show you what Russian cuisine is!

«DYMKA 2012» price is €500 which includes:

• accommodation in a modern comfortable University dormitory with rooms for two or tree
• two meals per day
